Lost Your Meal Card?

Losing your meal card can be costly. For your protection please follow the following steps to replace your missing meal card. Stop by the Sodexo Campus Service Office (ACC 105) so that your card can be deactivated. Next proceed to the Student Activities Office (ACC 208 ) where a new card will be made for you at a cost of $10 per occurrence. Finally bring your new card back to the Sodexo Office so that it can be activated. Please remember that a valid meal card is required to enter the dining room, students without a valid card will be asked to obtain a new card before eating. Under certain circumstance a one meal pass may be available to some students.

Welcome Guests

Have a guest over for dinner! You are welcome to bring a friend or family member for any meal. Guest meal prices are as follows: Breakfast $4.50, Lunch $6.75, Dinner $8.10 and Brunch $6.75.

Dietary Requirements & Sick Trays

Do you have particular dietary needs? No problem! Our Campus Dining Services Program can accommodate your special dietary requirements. For more information, please contact Jason Martin in the Sodexo Campus Services Office at 315.792.5419 or jmartin@mvcc.edu. Sick trays are also available for students with a meal plan. If you are feeling under the weather and would like to order a sick tray, call your floor resident Assistant. They will assist you in ordering a sick tray from the dining center.

Dining Policies & Procedures

One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:

  • Please bus your tray and disposables from your table when you have finished dining.
  • Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
  • Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferable. Meal Cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.
  • Book bags are not allowed in the Dining Hall. Please return them to your room or place them in the lockers provided at the entrance. Sodexo is not responsible for lost of stolen book bags.
  • ID cards are required to enter the Dining Hall. Students without an ID card will be asked to pay for their meal.
  • Please refrain from foul and abusive language while in the dining hall.
  • Help keep the dining room clean by refraining from throwing food or any other objects while in the dining hall.
  • Failure to comply with the above policies will result in disciplinary action.

About Your Dining Meal Plan

In order to meet your campus needs, we have designed the following meal plans for the 2010-2011 academic year. If you need to purchase a meal plan, or you would like to make a change to the plan you have already selected, simply contact Auxiliary Services in ACC 206 or at 315.792.5457. Note: Meal plan changes can only be made during the first two weeks of each semester.

Hawk Dollars

An all in one debit card account which works with your ID card to provide a convenient, easy and safe way to make purchase in the MV Commons Snack bar, Resident Dining Hall or at the Night Hawk Cafe. When you’re hungry stop by one of the locations, swipe your card and you're on your way. No searching for change or worrying about where you left your wallet. Additional Hawk Dollars may be purchased directly through the Sodexo Campus Services Office (ACC 117). Hawk Dollars will be transferred from Fall to Spring semester only. Balances remaining at the end of the Spring semester are not refunded.

Commuter Plans

Commuter 30 - $385

Offers the commuter student the option of eating any 30
meals offered in the Resident Dining Hall during the course
of the semester and the added flexibility of $150 Hawk Dollars
to use in the MV Commons Snack Bar or for future meals in the
Resident Dining Hall or at the Night Hawk Café.

Commuter 45 - $485

Offers the commuter student the option of eating any 45 meals offered
in the Resident Dining Hall during the course of the semester and the
added flexibility of $150 Hawk Dollars to use in the MV Commons Snack
Bar or for future meals in the Resident Dining Hall or at the Night Hawk Café.

Commuter 60 - $580

Offers the commuter student the option of eating any 60 meals offered in the Resident Dining Hall during the course of the semester and the added flexibility of $150 Hawk Dollars to use in the MV Commons Snack Bar or for future meals in the Resident Dining Hall or at the Night Hawk Café.

Please Note:

*Commuter Plans are now able to be paid with Financial Aid.

Look for Information about Night Hawk Café, offering late night dining and activities, sponsored by Sodexo Campus Services and Student Activities. Night Hawk Café is scheduled for Tuesday & Wednesday nights from 8:00pm - 10:00pm in the MV Commons.

 

Resident Plans

Platnium - $1720

19 meals per week. This plan offers the greatest value providing all meals served Friday - Thursday. Includes $100.00 in Hawk Dollars.

Silver - $1720

10 meals per week. This plan provides any 10 of 19 meals offered Friday - Thursday. Includes $275.00 in Hawk Dollars.

Plus Plans - $100

Add $100.00 dollars in Hawk Dollars to the Platinum, Gold or Silver Plans before the semester starts.

Gold - $1720

14 meals per week. This plan is designed for convenience with any 14 of 19 meals offered Friday - Thursday. Includes $175.00 in Hawk Dollars.

Bronze - $1445

10 meals per week. This plan provides any 10 of 19 meals offered Friday - Thursday. No Hawk Dollars are include with this plan.

  • The meal plans listed provide meals served in the Resident Dining Hall.
  • All residents meal plans include 2 free guest passes that can be used at any meal.
